Odds are they do not. And if you try and explain it, they will most likely be annoyed, wonder about your reasons, your sanity, and quite likely ask "why are you telling me this?"
While anyone who got involved in the online argument back in 2008, or 2009, knows well the years long discussions, fights and the vain attempts of spork to get anyone to make a bet, anyone who was not involved probably knows exactly nothing about it.
And they won't care. Not even a little.
When it comes to the online drama and serious online fighting, they will care even less.
